This course is designed to be an accessible, full day course covering a simplified body of techniques from Fiore dei Liberi’s Flor Di Bataglia. Starting from grappling and then bridging to use of the dagger and longsword by themselves, then concluding with transitioning from one weapon to the next in giocco stretto or ‘close play’. So, if you ever wondered how to deal with or deploy a dagger in close combat this will be the class for you.
Previous HEMA or western martial arts experience is helpful but not required as we will be looking at an easily replicatable body of techniques designed for use under the stress of coming to grips with an opponent.

Course Information:
- Date/Time: January 15th, 2023. 8:00-5:00
- Location: Easterday Rec Center, 6130 Adams St, Lincoln, NE 68507
- Cost: $40 for non NESG members, $30 for current NESG members

- Because of our contract with the city we are unable to accept money on site so preregistration will be required. Payment accepted via Venmo, Paypal, check, or cash in person (NOT on day of the course)
