After the Cornhusker State Games 2019

Joe: It’s been a few days since the ending of the HEMA tournaments this past weekend and I wanted to say that wins, losses, and medals aside I’m very proud of the way NESG performed this year. I spoke with some of the other clubs that were there and they had nothing but nice things to say (and a few suggestions for improvement) for y’all. “They were perfectly polite. Good sports.” “O man they were Awesome; all of your guys fought well. Very technical. And all of them were the nicest guys.” “All Lincoln guys have a wonderful demeanor….” “Beautiful movements” Those were some of the best quotes, everyone I spoke with said how well everyone moved and how they could tell who the Fioreists were. The fights that I did get to see showed me NESG folk moving like CSG folk back home and that makes me very happy. Everyone seemed to have fun and came away with lessons learned and new friends to cross blades with again in the future. I’m looking forward to next year already.
