Jesse Kulla, Provost of Armizare, came all the way from Chicago to teach a one day class on the art of armizare as taught by Fiore. Jesse, as a member of the Chicago Swordplay Guild (our parent guild), is well versed in all things armizare. We delved into techniques, safety while performing them, and historically/martially why we do these things the way we do them.
Everyone had a great time, even those who are not a part of the Nebraska Swordfighter’s Guild. As an added bonus we got some tips on tournament fighting and how to avoid common traps given by opponents.
And of course we had to do some free sparring cause we just love to spar.
